Wedding response cards?

I received my wedding invitations and response/reply cards, which I ordered online. The response cards are folded with the “Please respond by…. entree choices” etc. printed on top and the inside of the folded card blank. Is the inside blank so that people can write notes inside when they rsvp, like “looking forward to it” or “I’m allergic to shellfish?” Just curious because I’ve never done this befroe and I thought it looked odd!
Excuse me, “Southern Belle”, you’re not so polite yourself! I’m not complaining, just trying to follow proper etiquette here so I don’t mail things out to people that are wrong or incomplete.

Yeah, that’s normal. Most reply cards are like that, although mine weren’t.

It’s like putting that stupid tissue paper inside the Invite. There really isn’t any point to it!

And by the way, Southern Belle’s response was WAY out of line. You’re not complaining at ALL!

Trust me, there will be more things for the wedding that you’re not sure of.
