Handmade Greeting Cards Via Printer?

I make handmade greeting cards.
I want to be able to print “Happy Birthday” from my PC before I decorate it but I am totally clueless as to how I go about doing it.
Any ideas?
I have looked on Word as a start but the fonts are so boring.

There are several commercial programs for creating greeting cards, like Print Master, Print Shop, and Hallmark Card Studio.

Here’s a site that has ratings for many of them as well as a chart of the features each includes.

It also gives the approximate lowest price for each one. Once you decide on one, check with your local computer software stores to see if they have a better price than that site, however, as you’d have to pay shipping there.

If the ONLY thing you want is to print “Happy Birthday” however, you might want to check out the many rubber stamps available. There are quite a few styles for birthday cards.
